Jonathon has 23 years’ experience in the mechanical building services industry, having started as a control systems engineer he then progressed to Associate Mechanical Engineer. He has worked in a wide range of fields including the Aged Care, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Laboratory, Public Buildings, Recreational/Leisure/Church, Residential, Warehouse and Retail fields. Jonathon completed a mechanical engineering degree (1st Class Honours) at the University of Auckland, and is a chartered professional engineer CEng MCIBSE, and a registered author of Auckland Council producer statements.
Jonathon enjoys working on a range of project types such as concept design through to detailed design, monitoring of construction and commissioning, contract management, condition surveys, technical due diligence, legal due diligence, decarbonisation feasibility studies, peer reviews and quality assurance (QA) reviews.
His contracting background combined with his office design experience gives him a well-rounded understanding of what to consider when working on projects from an early stage.
