Jonathan is an experienced Building Services Engineer and Project Manager with over eighteen years in the construction industry, working for three large, multinational engineering practices in both the New Zealand and UK markets before joining the eCubed team in 2018.
Jonathan was a key member of the design team on a multitude of high-profile anchor projects with estimated construction values in the £350-500 million range ($0.7-1 billion NZD) during his time in the UK. He has extensive experience in the luxury hotel and high-end residential sectors that include the new build Peninsula Hotel and Residences in Belgravia and the Park Lane Hilton and residences in Mayfair, London.
In the New Zealand Market Jonathan was heavily involved in the redevelopment of the Britomart Precinct, Aged Care facility work in the $10-25 million range, FSNI Distribution Centre and Offices, Gib Production Facility, Auckland and Christchurch Airways ATC’s and has led building services design teams for projects in the Residential, Education and Commercial Office/Fit out markets.
Jonathan’s experience includes the design and documentation for all stages of Sanitary Drainage, Storm water Drainage, Reclaimed Grey and Rainwater Systems, Reverse Osmosis Water, Softened Water, Water Treatment, Gas, and Domestic Hot and Cold-Water systems.
A full member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE) and the Society of Public Health Engineers (MSoPHE), Jonathan brings a wealth of technical knowledge and out of the box solutions to the projects he’s involved in and is at the forefront of pushing emerging technologies and sustainable initiatives. He is also a Producer Statement Author registered with Auckland Council.
